RBI's Technical Development Program

Looking to utilize your software engineering background and learn more about how technology and digital development plays a vital role in large, global brands? Our Technical Development Program may be the right fit for you! You will have ownership of challenging work that enables you to make a real impact and will set you up to be a future leader at RBI. Those accepted into the software engineering stream will play a crucial part in scaling our technical capabilities and enabling our company's growth through digital innovation.

What You'll Experience

You'll begin your career at RBI with robust training and onboarding, coupled with extensive technical bootcamp. You will also gain firsthand exposure to operations by working in a Burger King, Tim Hortons, or Popeyes restaurant. You'll then experience two 6-month rotations followed by a permanent placement, giving you exposure to a variety of technical functional areas in the corporate office, including mobile app development, product recommendation, shared UX, data platform, product management, and machine learning.

To be eligible for this program, you must:

*Be completing an undergraduate degree at an accredited university with an expected graduation of Spring/Summer 2022

*Be majoring or concentrating in the following areas: Computer Science, Computer Programming, Software Engineering, Web Development, Data Science, or similar technical fields

*Be proficient in JavaScript; and have knowledge or experience with: React, Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, AWS, or similar Cloud providers

*Have a performance-focused and results-oriented approach - you'll need a strong work ethic and determination to be successful in this role

*Take ownership over your work and be exceptionally self-motivated, ambitious and have an entrepreneurial spirit

*Have excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership, and motivational skills coupled with solid analytical capabilities and being a strong conceptual thinker
