Culinary & Innovation Development Program (CDP) Full Time

RBI's Culinary & Innovation Development Program

Our Culinary & Innovation Development Program (CDP) is our way to grow the future innovation leaders of the industry. Bring us big ideas, confidence, and an entrepreneurial mindset, and you'll be given the chance to work on real-world challenges right away. With an accelerated learning curve and early exposure to leadership responsibility, you'll get your career off to a strong start.

What You'll Experience

You'll jump right into RBI culture during onboarding and will have the chance to meet the global leadership team at our Miami corporate office. Next, you'll spend a few weeks going through all the training you'll need to be a successful contributor to culinary innovation at the company; this will include core skills training as well as in-restaurant training, giving you an in-depth, hands on experience of our operations. After training, you'll complete two 6 month long rotations with Burger King and Popeyes. During this period you'll learnabout different business functions, networks with various employees & vendors, and continue to hear from leadership during program milestones.
You'll have the opportunity to support menu innovation and product development for global brands, collaborating with cross-functional team members daily. At the conclusion of the program, you'll develop an innovative product for one of our brands that will be presented to RBI leadership - successful participants will be placed into a permanent position where they can continue to learn and grow their career with RBI.

What our current CDPs are saying

"In most cases, when you are hired by RBI, you are hired by one, single brand. This program acts like an incubator and has given me the opportunity to learn the unique product development processes for multiple brands!
Getting to build connections with the different suppliers and vendors has really expanded my professional network and my overall product knowledge.
Being an integral part of these teams has been the best part!
The Culinary Innovation teams from each brand have a big responsibility of being part of the decision - making processes that define the future of the brands."

"The CDP program is a great way for recent grads to learn from innovation experts and gain exposure to many different parts of the food industry.
My favorite part of the program has been the fast paced and ever-changing environment, which has provided me the opportunity to diversify my skillset, learn from industry leaders, and become highly adaptable. One week you're at a potato plant learning how Popeyes creates its delicious mashed potatoes and the next you're spending time helping food stylists with a promotional photoshoot."
